Long terms fans of Colin will know all about Trudy the dog. Trudy has been something of a companion (some might say something of a weird obsession) for Colin since before she featured on the artwork of Colin's debut album, Loss. This questionable relationship reached its pinnacle around the time that the single 'How Bout I Love You More' was released when Colin commissioned a 15ft Trudie to star with him in the video. However, in  2007 retirement beckons for Trudy. At the end of last year she was put out to stud (or whatever 15ft paper mache dogs do when they've given up the summer festival circuit). Look out for her working her blue-rinsed magic alongside some children's charities in Glasgow's West End Festival next summer. Possibly alongside her old owner for a one-off reunion.
