I’ve been busy at the coalface working on the beginnings of my new Mull Historical Society album, and my next novel — as usual you’ll be the first to know when they gather steam.

Few things to tell you about below, including news of my first children’s picture book with accompanying music, but in the meantime I’m playing a few nice early summer Mull Historical Society shows, at Kintyre Songwriters Festival, Glasgow’s West End Festival and at the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum – all details below. Also, you can check out the Channel 4 archive documentary on MHS featured below.

Sunday April 30th — Kintyre Songwriters Festival — Campbeltown Town Hall, Campbeltown. MHS finally play the Mull of Kintyre! Join me for an acoustic performance on the ‘other’ Mull, also feat. many more… Get Tickets here

Sunday June 18th — Glasgow West End Festival All Dayer — Òran Mór. Glasgow. MHS play the fantastic Oran Mor as part of 14 Scottish acts playing over 3 stages. Also feat. Roddy Hart and the Lonesome Fire and more. Get Tickets Here

It is about an orchestra drum and is being beautifully illustrated as we speak and will also feature an accompanying CD of children’s songs and audiobook. More to come…
